My Story
I have been in the decor industry for 28 years, starting out as an assistant in a textile shop while studying at Birthe’s Studio of Decor and Design
I have always loved Textiles and colour and the endless possibilities they represent in the creative world of decor.
As a young decorator, I moved to Johannesburg to pursue my dreams. I worked for an established Decor store that helped me hone a keen eye for colour.
I was trained to recognise and plan for every eventuality and potential outcome when preparing, manufacturing and installing our custom made window treatments. Customer satisfaction was our priority.
During the course of my career, I expanded my knowledge base by learning to ask the right questions.
Every decor project is unique to the client’s likes/dislikes, personality and lifestyle. These are key factors to consider when offering a bespoke product and turnkey service. Every client is given the full attention of my 28 years of experience encompassing thousands of tailor made solutions.
With an abundance of first-hand experience in designing bespoke products, managing projects and customer relations- I consider myself a specialist in my field.
I have been involved with decor projects locally and abroad in Botswana, Zimbabwe and The Seychelles. I have also worked with Clients abroad with projects in Canada and the UK
